    Kobe Bryant's legal troubles began when a 19 yr old hotel employee accused him of sexual assault and rape. While Kobe denied those allegations, he did admit to an adulterous affair with the accuser, and in the process implicated former friend and teammate Shaquille O'Neal.

    NFL Hall of Famer and sportscaster Frank Gifford was framed by tabloid The Globe. They paid flight-attendant and model Suzen Johnson to seduce the married Gifford in a hotel room while cameras monitored.

    Not soon after Phelps' record breaking Olympic performance, a photo surfaced of the swimmer smoking Marijuana. Phelps admitted to "behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment."

    During the Pittsburgh drug trials of 1985, it came to light that several Pittsburgh pirates including Tim Raines (pictured), Willie Mays, and Keith Hernandez were involved in a baseball-related cocaine scandal. Raines has said that he would slide into bases head-first only so as not to break the vials of cocaine he would hide in his pocket.
